Welcome to the central hub of Scavenger Hunt – the user leaderboard! This is where the magic happens and users can keep track of their progress towards earning those coveted rewards. Think of it like a treasure map, but instead of ‘X marks the spot,’ it’s ‘increments lead to rewards!’

The page starts off with a quick introduction to Scavenger Hunt and proceeds to a table of the currently active users. Note that users become active when they find their first reward or visit the leaderboard.

Leaderboard Table

The leaderboard table has a column for each available reward and includes a counter for the number of ‘increments’ that have been found so far. It’s like a virtual piggy bank, but instead of coins, you’re collecting reward increments.

But wait, there’s more! The leaderboard also keeps things interesting by showing the ‘Active PowerUp’ each user currently has enabled. PowerUps are like having your own magical fairy godmother, but instead of turning pumpkins into carriages, she’s helping you find those elusive increments.

At the time of release, we have two PowerUps:

  1. Double Reward Detective: Up your sleuthing skills for a day and get double the rewards whenever you find an increment.
  2. Lucky Charm 10: Your own magical charm! Increase your chance of finding any increment by 10%.

User Activity

The final column in the leaderboard table has a ‘View’ action that displays how the user earned their rewards, so you can bask in the glory of your hard-earned increments and cheer on your team members.
